This case study involves a client who designed an autonomous forklift that uses artificial intelligence to navigate through warehouses independent of human control. This design was already in the prototyping phase, but they found that the forklift was encountering undiagnosed electrical cabling issues that caused the system to not function as intended.

The client utilized TekRex’s Engineering Staffing services to help diagnose and resolve the issues. After hiring our team’s electrical design engineers, we analyzed the issues and designed schematics and cable harnesses that follow best practices for wiring.
Though TekRex was hired late into the development process, our team was able to quickly resolve the problems so that the client could maintain their original schedule. By bringing our team onto this project, the client ultimately saved money while still getting expert-level care for this issue.
