A manufacturer for the test and measurement industry needed an RF amplifier for use in the semiconductor industry. The client requesting the amplifier had a short schedule and only high-level specifications, including a requirement to fit into a very specific rack.

The test and measurement manufacturer partnered with TekRex through our engineering staffing services in order to bring the client’s sketch into a fully functioning product. The tight space of the rack meant TekRex had to take special care to house the large auxiliary components and power supply, while also designing a cooling system to prevent performance loss.

TekRex was able to design and create the amplifier within the specified time frame and with a level of craftsmanship that surpassed the client’s expectations. The success of the project meant that the client ultimately ordered several more units.
